Our Hometown Library - Logan County Library
Tucked right inside the Logan County Courthouse, our local library is a welcoming spot to slow down, explore, and get lost in a good book. Whether you’re stopping in to browse or just need a quiet moment, there’s always something here for you.
Need to return books after hours? No problem! We have a convenient dropbox located on the northwest corner of the building.
June is one of our favorite times of the year because it means Summer Reading Program season! We love seeing our local kids get excited about books, learning, and a little friendly reading fun all summer long.
We’re also proud to be an accredited library through the Nebraska Library Commission, ensuring our community has access to quality resources and services right here at home.

LIBRARY MISSION STATEMENT
The purpose of the Logan County Library is to provide the people of the Logan County area with equal access to information and to assist in their lifelong pursuit of learning and adventure. The function of the library is to assemble, organize, and preserve printed and non-printed material within its physical and financial means.
LOGAN COUNTY FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY MISSION STATEMENT
The Logan County Friends of the Library is a volunteer organization dedicated to the active promotion, welfare and support of the Logan County Library. The purpose is to build and maintain an association of persons interested in the library, its services, facilities and needs; to develop supplemental funding to assist in promoting the use and enjoyment of the library by the community.
